VIS developed a marketing database system in Visual Basic 4.0 and Access 2.0, to tie HMV's advertising campaigns into a central system, produce purchase orders and invoices, and create budget reports and financial output for an AS/400 accounting system.

At the time, they had no internal development department, and VIS solely progressed the project from inception to implementation.
