VIS consultants performed many varied roles during there time at BES Communications:

• Project Manager & Team leader of up to 10 developers
• Design / development of and delivery of 4 internal systems [for external clients BSKyB, British Telecom, Eastern Energy & Yorkshire Electricity]
• Administrator role for NT & SQL Server
• Laying down development standards, desktop installation procedures and methods
• Recruitment and team building
• End-user training

The 4 main projects worked on had a number of significant parts: volume data analysis, payroll calculation, reporting and strategic planning. Given the client requirements VIS designed an OO-based powerful GUI model & database which was used by all 4 projects.
